Rose Bay Store, Rose Bay, Nova Scotia

 

The Rose Bay store has been reopened by its new owner/operators and local residents, Anja and Christoph. They have worked hard at refurbishing the store’s interior. A comfortable new sitting area is in place along with new wine/beer display section.

 Their vision is for a more traditional village corner store. To this end, have installed wooden shelves and display areas. Other ideas are to establish a small organic farmers’ market and a section where local art and crafts can be displayed.

 Thursdays will continue to see the arrival of the wonderful and fragrant bread from Boulangerie La Vendéenne and, as before, you can pre-order your favourites.

 There is a good selection of beer, wines, and spirits and Christoph has promised consistent stocking. They are keen to hear from customers about what they would like to have available.
